What To Read After Twilight.

I posted this picture a couple years ago and the post always got the most hits on my old blog.  It actually STILL gets hits, which makes me laugh a little.

It’s a scan of a flyer.  And I’m not joking…it seriously still gets hits.

I posted this in 2008. Ready for some confusion: We were living in Iowa, but I had spent the summer living in Utah with my in-laws while my husband traveled the country doing rotations. (so we were kinda homeless students actually)  Those were good times.  (enter sarcasm)  good times. (okay, they really weren’t that bad…it was an adventure)  Back to the story….while in Utah, I decided to go to the library. Doesn’t every one go to the library while they are on a month or two long “vacation”
Well I do.

Fast forward a few years, we’ve moved back to my husbands hometown and I visit the same library quite frequently. A couple times a week actually.  One thing that I absolutely love about this library is all the lists that they offer.

After all..I am a list making girl.  True.  I make a list first thing every day.  This is like a dream….A library after my own heart.
Lists of books.
swoon.

I’m pretty sure they don’t have the Twilight list on their pamphlet disply wall anymore….but I bet they still have it in a binder someplace.

So, if you haven’t read Twilight, than maybe you should read it.  Don’t go off the movies.  Read the books.  (although I don’t like the 4th one).  And if you like them, off the top of my head, here are a couple more that I suggest:
(not a complete list by any means)

Twilight, Stephanie Meyer (series)
The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins (series)
Divergent, Veronica Roth (series)
A Great and Terrible Beauty, Libba Bray (series)
Uglies, Scott Westerfield (series)
Matched, Aly Condie (series)
The Paper Magician, Charlie Holmberg (series, but not all out yet)
Reaper, Lindsay Hiller (series, but not all out yet)
Dangerous, Shannon Hale
An Unlikely Match, Sarah M. Eden
Shades of Milk and Honey, Mary Kowel (series)

Did you read Twilight?
What book you add to my list?

And the most important question of the day…

Are you team Edward or Jacob?

(I’m team Jacob.)
