From the Publisher:
It’s easy to feel paralyzed by uncertainty.  We want our questions answered, our decisions affirmed, and our plans applauded.  But life doesn’t come with an instruction manual and rarely follows a straight path. How would your life change if you learned to lean into uncertainty instead of waiting on the sidelines for just the right moment or opportunity?

The paradox of faith is that you can’t activate it until you act on it. Trust compels us to move forward. If you don’t, then you’ll be left with a laundry list of unrealized expectations. You were meant to experience a life of abundance and blessing, not frustration and failure.

Clarity only comes when we look back. So if you wait until you have clarity, you’ll never find it. Instead, you must move forward even when you feel scared to death. That is when you’ll be able to turn the fears that keep you up at night into fuel for your journey.

If you want to experience a breakthrough in your life, then you must find a new cadence that will provide the strength you need to move forward in spite of your doubts, questions, and fears. The rhythm of faith is not hinged upon our circumstances but our willingness to surrender.

In his most insightful work since the debut bestseller, Plan B, Pete Wilson provides a plan for living that will lead you to a place of peace that you’ve only dreamed about and a life filled with meaning, significance, and satisfaction.

Review:
I read this book about the same time I was reading The Art of Work.  (I get so far behind in reviews sometimes I don’t always get them posted as fast as I should).  Both books were very inspirational to me.  I really enjoyed and recommend them both.

Pete Wilson, the author of this book, is a preacher in Nashville and there is so much good Christian advice in this book.  I believe that Heavenly Father is there for us, he is wanting to help us at all times.  But sometimes in the middle of a trial or hard time it’s hard to remember that.  Sometimes we know there is a right path for us, but more often than not, that path isn’t always easy.  This book offers advice and good insights on what to do when you are experiencing trials in your life.

The book was easy to read and at the end of every chapter there was a key idea section, with reviewed bullet points, reflection questions and a “next step” or a suggestion to work on.  I really loved these because I often read books similar to these, and they are full of ideas and great suggestions, but then I never know what to do next.  This gave me the exact “homework” that and action that I needed.

I really had a hard time looking back through the book and the highlights and finding a favorite part.  I really enjoyed it all.  I think if i had to choose, I really loved this quote:

“In the same way, when our lives are out of alignment with God, it causes unnecessary wear and tear.  Oh, we can acclimate, to a certain extent, and it may even be a long time before we realize the damage that has been done, but the damage is there.  I see it in the eyes of people who come to me for counseling.  It shows up in depression, in estranged family members, in ruined marriages, in broken friendships – in lost dreams.

We are not designed to live our lives out of alignment with God.  If we don’t periodically re-calibrate, something, somewhere is going to get out of whack.  And the consequences can be devastating.”

I think this is a great book and I think anyone would enjoy reading it, and find something useful in it.  It’s insightful and full of great ideas and suggestions.  It felt like a peaceful book, one that can offer calm solutions to our busy world.  If you heave fears that you think are holding you back, this is a good book for you.  If you don’t, but want to read a book that can help you with ideas on how to draw closer to Heavenly Father, and what He has planned for you, this is a good book for you.  It’s a great book for any Christian.
