Review:
Finally -the long awaited fifth and last book in the Janitors series!  This final book was a hard one to put down.  So much action, so much going on, and so much fun!  I couldn’t get enough of it and finished it in one day. 

Just like the previous books in this series it is so hard for me to sit down and write a review that does not include spoilers.  So hard!

There were parts of this book that had me laughing out loud, and some parts that made me almost tear up they were so sad.  In the end I was so happy with the characters.  When I started this series I never would have imagined wanting to hug Dez, but in the end that was just what I wanted to do.  Dez is awesome and such a fun character to see develop throughout the series. I think one of the reasons that I loved the characters and these books so much was that there were characters that almost any kid could relate too.

I thought the use of ordinary objects with magical properties was so fun.  I loved that at the end of this book there was a “glossary of glopified supplies”

One of my favorite parts of this entire book was when Spencer was in the dustbin and Walter talked to him.  My favorite quote (from book 4 – that I posted yesterday) came up again.  Good things are hard to do – good things take sacrifice. What a great underlining theme!

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I loved this series.  It was really great from the first book to the end. And bonus…if you haven’t started the series, now it’s all out – so you won’t have to wait for the next book like we did!  My kids really loved these books.  When my oldest (who is almost 12) found out that I had an advanced copy of the 5th book he was pretty excited to read it too.  He finished the advanced copy so fast. He is my kid who loves to read, but really struggles to read on his grade level.  I was so happy to see him read through this book. I’ve heard him recommend it to friends and family.  I asked him if he would want to write a short review for my blog, and he said sure.  Below is a copy of his review:
