This week is a little bit of a mixed up week. I usually work at our office on Mondays and Thursdays. But this week I’m working Monday/Friday instead. It’s really not a big deal, but we’ve also had parent teacher conferences, working at the school in the mornings, as well as piano lessons, robotics club, reading classes, and to top it off we are leaving tomorrow to go on a fun trip with some friends so I won’t have time for along run on Saturday. Plus I’ve recently had to change my running schedule to evening instead of mornings. So after looking at my schedule earlier this week and talking to my husband I decided Thursday would be my long run day. It would have to be on the treadmill, but I could do it. I’ve done 10 miles on the treadmill more than a couple times. 10 miles. Today was my 10 mile day.
Then life hit, I got super busy this week, and then the kicker I woke up with the worst cold ever. Blah!
Did I mention that I’m running a half marathon in 9 days!?
I don’t have time for this!!!
But here I am. After getting the essential errands done this is where I will be the rest of the day. Catching up with blogs, reading and drinking lots and lots. (oh – and I’m doing laundry, because with a family of seven, that never ends, whether I’m sick or not!)
I keep hearing my mom’s voice in the back of my mind – hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
I’m hoping to kick this bugger before it knows what is happening.

I think I’ll be good if I can manage maybe 3 miles today. That’s a big maybe too.
