2015 Top Ten Non-Fiction Book List!

December 30, 2015

Phew – this week has been a super busy crazy week!  But before the end of 2015 rolls around I want to post my top 10 nonfiction books.  I posted my top 10 fiction books a few weeks ago.  (You can read that post here).

This list was a little bit harder to come up with – I love non-fiction!

In no certain order – here are my top ten picks….

the fringe hours

The Fringe Hours and My Fringe Hours
Jessica Turner

I read this book earlier in the year and just sat down and read My Fringe Hours, her new book, during the Christmas break.  I loved them both.  I think all women should read them.  Such great inspirational books!

time-management-momma

Time Management Mama
Sarah Korhnak and Beth Anne Schwamberger

I stumbled upon this book, a little bit by accident, but I absoluatly loved it.  It was just what I needed this summer and since reading it I  have started to follow their facebook page and their podcasts.  These are women who know business and have great ideas!

money making mom

Money Making Mom
Crystal Paine
No list of mine would be complete without mentioning this book – I have recommend it over and over.  It’s one of my top favorites (probably in the top five if I had to narrow it down).

miracle morning

The Miracle Morning
Hal Enrod
This was a book that really made me stop and think about my morning routine.  Since then I have really tried to use my mornings wisely and use them to prepare for the day.  Great book.

the art of work

The Art of Work
Jeff Goins
I found this book really insightful and helpful when trying to look at my life and decide what goals I really want to focus on.  I’ve also been following Jeff since reading this and he has some great blog posts and helpful tips.

i can do hard things

I Can Do Hard Things With God
Ganel-Lyn Condie
If you are looking for some really gospel orientated short stories to inspire you this is a wonderful book.  I think it would make a great gift too.  What I really love about it is that all the stories are real.  Some of the women are still in the middle of their trials, but they are real and open and honest about their faith.  Great book.

love life and see good days

Love Life and See Good Days
Emily Belle Freeman
I’m a big believer that there is good in every single day – but sometimes it is just really hard to see.  This book is a wonderful, short easy book to help you love life and remember to look for the good.

rising strong

Rising Strong
Brene Brown
I just finished this book during the Christmas break and haven’t got to my review yet – but I loved this book!  It gave me so much to think about and I marked so many pages.  It really is a book everyone should read!

living weell spending less

Living Well Spending Less
Ruth Soukup
I thought this book was really easy to read and enjoyed that it had helpful tips if you are looking into ways to save money or simply your budget.  I’ve since started following Ruth on facebook, blogs and periscope and always enjoy what she has to say.

undone

Undone
Michelle Cushatt
This book was one of those books that was so good – but so hard to read too.   Telling her story about cancer and making peace with her unexpected life – Michelle is really inspirational and this story was hard for me to put down.

One last one – because it was so hard to limit it to just 10 books….

another runner

Tales from Another Mother Runner
Dimity McDowell and Sarah Bowen Shea
If you are a runner then you need to follow these ladies!  This book is one of their collection of books and it is so fun to read.  It’s a collection of stories and is so real life and had me laughing out loud at parts.  Great gift idea for any woman runner in your life too!
