Review:
You might not know this about me but I am a huge fan of Sarah M. Eden.

I don’t think I’ve ever read anything by her that I didn’t like – if not love.  I really love her work. She didn’t release a full length book this year, but she did have a lot of short novellas in different anthology collections and I was pretty excited to finally get my hands on this collection by her.

I think I loved the second story the best – A Happy Beginning with Dermot and Sophia.  Maybe because I loved the Scotland part of the story?  I just fell in love with it and loved the characters. They were perfect for me and I would LOVE to see this one become a full length novel.

The third novella, The Road to Cavan Town, pointed out exactly why I love Sarah M. Eden’s books so much.  I think her writing is so witty and descriptive.  This first paragraph just makes me smile every time I read it.
(Do you take pictures of favorite passages when you find them?  Am I the only one?)

She was not that belle.
Love it.

If you haven’t read any books by Sarah M. Eden than I highly suggest that you read them.  She has such talent for creating clean historical romance stories that will make you smile.  Her books are always ones that I know I can enjoy over again too.  I think my top favorite books form her are Longing For Home and Longing For Home Hope Springs.  Both are are great books. If you are looking for something short and simple to keep you reading during the winter months, The British Isles Collection is a perfect read.

I loved this book.  I’m still crossing my fingers and hoping that Sarah comes out with a full length book in 2016:)
