Who needs some motivation this time of year to keep moving? I know I do! Last year I was inspired by my friend Tracy, at Working Mom’s Balance, to do a holiday running streak. This year I am going in for round two! Want to join me?
This is how it is going to work. Since I know some of you aren’t runners, but would still want to do something active, I am opening this up to run, walk or move at least one mile every day from today to January 1st. I know for me, personally, I don’t run on Sunday. So I will walk a mile on Sundays. And run at least one mile, or do a workout the other 6 days of the week. If you aren’t a runner, walk. If you aren’t a walker, do your favorite workout for at least 20 minutes a day. Just make sure you do something every day!
This isn’t something you should feel bad about if you can’t commit to every day – I just want to be conscientiously making an effort to getting exercise in the next month.
