With easy, step-by-step instructions, Suze and Michele show how a basic outfit can be quickly transformed into a chic, timeless look for almost any occasion. They also provide fit guidelines for every body shape, as well as shopping resources to help you refresh your T-shirt and jeans wardrobe.
If you’ve ever stared into your closet and felt clueless or overwhelmed, this book is for you. It’s written for everyday women – not fashionistas – who feel they lack the style gene. “The T-Shirt & Jeans Handbook” will show you how to keep your comfy clothes, but, with a few tweaks and tricks, achieve effortless style, every day.
Review:
If ever a book was written for me – it would be this one! I am SUCH A tee-shirts and jeans kinda girl. I might have a slight obsession with the boyfriend tees from Target and own a couple (or more) of them. I love the idea of dressing up simple basic outfits and this book is a great resource for how to do it.
“It’s easy to elevate the lowly T-shirt and jeans into a look that’s fun, fresh and polished,”
The book has lots of pictures and ideas and I LOVED that the shopping and resource in the back had every price point…and when I mean every, I mean that the low price point isn’t still super high like some of the other books that I’ve read through this week. The price points are realistic! I thought the book was pretty informative about fits, cuts and colors of t-shirts and jeans, and what to look for and what looks best on certain body types.
I totally learned that according to this book that denim experts recommend washing after 5-6 wears to preserve fit and color. Someone please tell that to my kids so they can stop creating laundry for me! The book also says between washing you an put jeans into a ziploc bag and pop them in the freezer overnight to remove odors. I am SO going to have to try this!
I loved this little ebook – it’s cute and full of pictures and ideas that I can’t wait to try out with the clothes that I already have. Plus, you can read this book for free on Kindle Unlimited so if you have that - totally check this book out, you have nothing to lose!
