Dang, I should have run 7.37 more miles.
My average was 4.21 miles a workout. When I started running I thought a good place to be would be able to run 5 miles a day consistently. I think I’m finally to a point where I could manage 5 miles a day, but I tend to vary between 3 and 5 during the week, mostly because of time. Bubble Guppies and Paw Patrol can only entertain the little 3 for so, and the other option is to get up at 4am, which happens some days, but then I’m already tired when I get to work before 6am. And work makes me tired. I’ve been looking around at some different half marathon training schedules. Thinking about what I want to do and when I want to start. I want to make a goal to at least run 8 miles on Saturdays. At school the faculty and staff is holding a Biggest Loser Contest that I signed up for, you don’t have to lose weight, but you have to set a measurable goal to work on in 6 weeks. My goal for now is to run 120 miles in six weeks. I guess after that I can get serious about the half marathon.
Do you log your runs?
I like to use Map My Run.
How much do you run in a week? A month?
I am trying to average 20 a week, between 80-100 miles a month
Do you have a training schedule?
I’ve used Hal Higdon Novice 1 schedule before and really liked it.
