Last year I read Condie’s other book, I Can Do Hard Things with God (you can read my review by clicking here) and loved it, so when I walked in the book store a few weeks ago and saw that she had a new book, I had to grab a copy!
I Can Forgive with God is a small collection of stories of amazing women and their choice to forgive.
Forgiveness is a tricky thing. We are commanded to forgive. But sometimes I feel that there are things so hard that I am not sure they can truly be forgiven during this life. We can work on it. And sometimes forgiving ourselves is one of the hardest things we ever have to do. The women in this book took such courage to share their stories and their journeys. The Atonement is real and can help all of us no matter where we are and what our story is.
This book was a great collection and had me in tears more than once. Either book from Condie would make amazing gifts for people or friends you have in your life that are struggling or need inspiration. Condie has also has a website she has created where you can read more about the women who contributed, find music selections and more..
