Who’s excited for 2017? I’ll be honest, I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, and hard a hard time looking forward to 2017. 2016 has been a rough year, and the ending just keeps bringing more and more bad news.
But I love goals and I love a fresh start.
I’ve been thinking and praying about what I want my goals to be in 2017, I have a good ideas generated, but one that I would really like to focus on is becoming just a better person – physically, mentally, spiritually. In the past 2 years I’ve run a lot…8 half marathons and a lot of miles. But I still have a long way to go when I think about my health. I started running to lose weight. I haven’t been able to lose ANY weight, and I really have a hard time with accepting this. I struggle with drinking water. And although I really like running and how I feel when I’m done, I’ll admit still struggle getting up and doing it each day. I struggle reading my scriptures each day and taking time to mediate, ponder and be grateful. I struggle with eating what I know I should eat. Diet coke and chocolate hold a big piece of my heart. 😉
I was so excited a few weeks ago I got an email from one of my favorite bloggers Crystal Paine sharing with her readers one of her new programs. Crystal is one of my favorites because she is real. She shares her struggle and she is honest and open with what has worked in her life and what doesn’t. I’ve taken many of her course and always find them helpful…and affordable. In 2016 Crystal worked on her year of REST and she has a new class – 15 days to a Healthier You, were she is going to share with us some of what she has learned and steps we can take to be healthier. I am SO excited for this. Crystal says this about the class:
“In 15 Days to a Healthier You, we’re going to cover aspects of health that people really don’t connect with their overall well-being, like how to set (and meet!) important goals, what self-care really is (and what it isn’t), loving your life, and so much more. Day-by-day we will redefine self-care and give you the tools you need to boost and maintain your health — permanently.”
It didn’t take me long to decide – this is the class I need right now.
So – who else is in? I would LOVE to share it some of my progress and thoughts on here as well. The cart opens on December 27, and closes on January 3, 2017. Click here to read more about it and join me in Crystal’s class! Crystal will have her own facebook group that we will all be a part of, but I would love to form a smaller group too, where we can share and support each other through our journey this next year.
Leave me a comment and let me know!
This makes me really excited to start to 2017!
